MediSum public pages are structured so article samples can be traced back to original PubMed records.

PubMed-Linked Records

MediSum public sample cards use application records that include PubMed identifiers when available. Each visible sample links to the PubMed record so readers can inspect the source.

The public demo should not depend on synthetic records. If an exact specialty or subspecialty lane is undersupplied, the demo broadens to related real records before showing an availability state.

How Lanes And Tags Are Used

Supported public examples currently include orthopedic surgery, cardiology, and oncology lanes, with sample coverage for spine surgery, arthroplasty, sports medicine, interventional cardiology, preventive or general cardiology, and oncology research updates.

Procedure, domain, and topic tags are ranking and explanation signals. They help users understand why an article appears in a lane, but they do not replace source review or full-text appraisal.

Verification Path

A trustworthy MediSum sample should show the article title, source metadata when available, a valid PMID, a PubMed link, and concise source-bounded framing.

Readers should verify important findings in the original PubMed record and, when needed, the full publication before using the information in clinical, research, or educational decisions.
